Cognitive Remediation and Neuroimaging Laboratory

Laboratory

The Cognitive Remediation and Neuroimaging Lab conducts innovative research with aims to better understand and treat cognitive difficulties in mental health disorders, such as depression and schizophrenia. We use brain imaging techniques to better understand brain correlates of neurocognitive and social cognitive impairments in various mental health disorders, as well as in youth at risk of developing these disorders. We are also interested in using digital technologies, such as smartphones and virtual reality, to develop better cognitive assessment tools and treatments to ultimately improve quality of life in individuals with mental health disorders.
