Psychoneuroendocrinology of Stress and Health Laboratory (LAPS2).

Laboratory

I am a clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in the impact of hormonal disorders on cognitive functioning in a population affected by endocrine pathologies such as Cushing's syndrome and Graves' disease. I am the director of the Psychoneuroendocrinology of Stress and Health Laboratory (LAPS2) at UQO, where we study hormone levels (cortisol, sex hormones, etc.) through salivary analysis. On the other hand, the research objectives of LAPS2 aim to understand the interaction between stress hormones (i.e., cortisol and testosterone) on social and cognitive functioning in young adults, middle-aged adults, and the elderly. Additionally, LAPS2 members explore virtual reality and stress, as well as their impact on aging.
