RICochet : Recherche sur les interventions en communauté

Annie Bérubé dirige l’équipe de Recherche sur les interventions en communauté, l’équipe Ricochet. Les différents travaux effectués par cette équipe permettent de mieux comprendre les facteurs qui contribuent à l’implication des parents dans les différentes sphères de vie de leur enfant. Deux axes de recherche sont développés au sein de l’équipe Ricochet. Dans le premier axe, la recherche se centre autour des retombées des activités offertes en communauté pour les familles qui y participent. Dans ce volet, l’évaluation de programme est mise à profit afin de mieux comprendre quels sont les éléments des programmes les plus à même de soutenir les familles. Le deuxième axe de recherche vise la compréhension des mécanismes qui pourraient expliquer que certains parents trouvent la réponse aux besoins de leur enfant particulièrement difficile. Des facteurs autant psychologiques que physiologiques sont alors explorés afin de dégager les variables associées à certaines réponses parentales. Par exemple, les études en cours portent sur la contribution de la perception des émotions et du stress engendré par l’interaction parent-enfant sur l’engagement du parent auprès de son enfant.
